Last night was the first night in over two weeks that I actually had a full nights sleep! My massive belly, heartburn, leg cramps and hearing my heartbeat in my ears finally subsided for a blissful 9 hours :-) I did however have one very interesting moment in my dream, I ripped my daughters arm OFF her body IN my body. Pregnant dreams are so twisted. She pushed her hands and feet out at the same time near my almost protruding belly button and I tried to grab her fingers because they were just so tiny and cute. Well, that wasn't happening so I tried harder and apparently when you try to grab a little persons fingers through your own body you can tear them apart. I woke up for a short moment after that and thought that was a really f-ed up dream and fell back into wonderland.
Creating a family is really one of the most impressive things my husband and I have tried to do. When we decided to start "trying" to make a baby well that was just fun....sometimes stressful, but mostly fun. The anticipation every month was a feeling that I'm positive we will never experience again. No matter what. When Gabriella decided to make her debut in my uterus we were so excited. Words can honestly not express that moment of joy, later proceeded by the moment of "holy shit, I am now responsible for a human". Starting from that very moment our lives would be very different. My husband and I are embarking on this adventure and I don't want to waste another moment without documentation of our transition into parenthood so welcome to our blog and please enjoy the ride.
